From Deanna G.
We have been encouraged by the stories around the world of the healing that is happening to our earth as people isolate and reduce their footprint. Sometimes it is difficult to separate truth from fiction in these stories, but it feels good to know our self-isolation might be doing more than just keeping other humans healthy, maybe it is helping our planet breathe better too. Doing our part to care for our little corner of the world, Daisy, Dani, and Darin took a walk through our new neighborhood and filled four trash bags with litter and recycling. Dani has been inspired to help other kids do the same and is working to launch a webpage where people can submit how many trash bags they have filled. My heart is warmed seeing so many ways people are caring for each other, and our planet, during this difficult season.
