Kids ages 4yrs* - 6th grade, come join in the fun of our Free VBS Kids Camp! You will meet new friends, play games, make crafts, sing songs, and much more, as we learn of God’s goodness in all aspects of life’s joys, as well as life’s challenges!

Too old to be a VBS Kids Camp kid? Then join in the fun as a volunteer! Choose what interests you the most —set up, drama, snacks, crafts, set building, costumes, photography, registration, games, group leader, etc. Then, come share your talents with us and join our VBS Kids Camp team! You can volunteer as little or as much as you would like! 

*Childcare available for children under 4 to parents that volunteer.  Write parent volunteer in the comments section at participant registration.

You may have seen or heard about some concerns regarding the Group Publishing Roar curriculum we are using. There have been several concerns brought up by different churches who have used the curriculum, about the culturally insensitive or offensive nature of some of the activities and programming as provided. Group has since released several modifications and revisions to address these concerns.

Here at Summit Avenue Presbyterian Church, we want to be intentional in our choice of curriculum to honor Christ and all His creation. We were extremely disappointed in Group’s missteps and mistakes. We always adapt their curriculum to us, never changing our values or theological understanding to fit the program. This will be at the forefront of our minds this year especially. Our leadership is aware of the issues and will be combing through every piece of curriculum to make sure it reflects this. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
