We are committed to growing disciples of Jesus by loving God, loving others, and serving the world. One way we do this is by gathering together for study, prayer, service, or sometimes just plain fun and friendship. Check out our Lent & Spring groups below and get connected.

Baptism Class
Baptism is one of the sacraments we share in our life together at Summit. Baptism is the bond of unity in Jesus Christ. When we are baptized we are made one with Christ, with one another, and with the Church of every time and place. Both believers and their children are included in God’s covenant love, therefore we baptize both adults and infants.
If you are interested in baptism yourself, or on behalf of a child, come join us as we explore baptism both theologically and practically.
Please bring a sack lunch.
Childcare available upon request.

Sunday morning - Adult co/ed
Perhaps no figure in biblical scholarship has been the subject of more controversy and debate than Mary Magdalene. Also known as Miriam of Magdala, Mary Magdalene was considered by the apostle John to be the founder of Christianity because she was the first witness to the Resurrection. Re-discovered in the late 19th century, this short but fascinating gospel is worthy of our time and attention. Join us!

Queerly Beloved is a Bible Study and Support group for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. We read selected passages of Scripture and discuss them through a queer lens to correct how Scripture has been used throughout the centuries to condemn and demonize diverse sexual orientation and gender identity. We also provide support for people who do not consider themselves Christian but want a safe and supportive environment to be themselves.
While we are grateful for our straight allies, this group is only for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Email LGBTQGroup@summitave.net for meeting time and place.
