2017 EASTER PROJECT April 1-8

family & youth launch night: January 8 | 6:30-8pm

This year we are excited to once again offer the opportunity for Freshmen through Senior High School students (grades 9-12) to participate in what has come to be known as the "Easter Project." This is our house building mission trip to Tijuana, Mexico, during Spring Break - April 1-8, 2017.

Students and parents who want to find out more please join us Sunday January 8 in the Summit Youth Room 6:30-8pm, and receive an Info Packet.

Spring Break of 2016, we sent a team of 14 students and adults from Summit Avenue and North Point churches to build a home for a family in need in Tijuana, Mexico. We joined the Easter Project Team from Spokane First Presbyterian at Casa Hogar, an orphanage in Tijuana which serves as a mission outpost for groups. We ate, slept and worshiped at Casa Hogar, and each morning we headed out to our building sites. Our team built one house, while Spokane built  5 - together we built a total of six houses for families in need!

We worked with the organization DOXA, which has been helping churches and groups plan mission trips to Tijuana for over twenty years.
